I especially enjoy internal medicine because of the problem solving that is often required to diagnose adult illnesses, and I savor the long-term relationships that I have with many of my patients. On a personal note, I have three wonderful teenage children, a black lab puppy, and my wife is a vascular surgeon. All keep me busy at home, but in my small amount of free time, I also enjoy road biking and have participated in a number of sprint and Olympic-length triathlons over the last 10 years. "".
