Dr. Jonathan C. Yang

Dr. Dinowitz began his medical education at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine in New York City where he served as class president before graduating as Valedictorian. He stayed in New York to complete his general surgery internship at NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital, and spent his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Joint Disease Orthopaedic Institute, also in New York City. His fellowship training took him to Tufts University Department of Orthopedics in Boston, Massachusetts.Dr. Dinowitz specializes in the evaluation and management of a broad spectrum of injuries and disorders involving the hand, wrist and upper extremities. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with added Qualification in Hand Surgery. He chose this specialization because of his love for intricate surgery. Dr. Dinowitz enjoys taking something few doctors can fix and doing his best to make it perfect again. Dr. Allen Liu is board certified in plastic surgery, and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery; with an emphasis in reconstructive surgery, peripheral nerve surgery and aesthetic surgery. He did his undergraduate study at the University of California, Los Angeles, and received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Harvard, and then hand surgery fellowship training at UCLA in Los Angeles. Dr. Liu joined the Arizona Center for Hand to Shoulder Surgery in 2012. Richards is board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and holds additional board certification in surgery of the hand and upper extremity. Dr. Richards is fellowship trained in disorders of the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow and microsurgery. Dr. Richards completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He spent a year doing basic science research at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, before matriculating at the Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, a distinction earned by top medical students. Following medical school, Dr. Richards completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University. He also completed a two-year full-time MBA program at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Richards then spent time as a visiting fellow in Hand Surgery at the Institut de la Main in Paris, France under the direction of Dr. Caroline LeClercq and also as a visiting Aesthetic Surgery Fellow at the Clinique Alphand in Paris under the direction of Dr. Bernard Cornette de Saint Cyr. Following his time in Paris, he returned to the United States to complete an ACGME approved fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. Originally from Mount Shasta, CA, Dr. Richards has had the opportunity to live and travel throughout the United States and abroad. He is an avid runner, having completed dozens of marathons. He is also an accomplished hiker, completing the 2,650 mile Pacific Crest Trail in a single season through-hike. He is a husband and the father of four wonderful children, including twin girls.
