It is a humbling experience to be a patient, and a physician needs to maintain that perspective. | Why I entered medicine | I entered medicine due to an interest in basis science and clinical care. Medicine provides a unique opportunity to treat an illness at both a molecular and cellular level. With recent advances in these areas, we are able to provide a higher level of care and improve the quality of life for our patients.
