Dr. Scott W. Alpert

Dr. Scott Alpert is a board-certified, fellowship-trained sports medicine and total joint replacement specialist. As director of joint preservation and reconstruction at Huntington Hospital, he has over 25 years of experience managing both routine and complex orthopedic cases. He performs total joint replacement and revision surgery of the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow, and sports medicine cases involving the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle.

Dr. Alpert uses the most advanced techniques including computer-assisted total joint replacements of the knee and hip. He also performs total shoulder replacements and reverse total shoulder replacements for arthritis and trauma. Dr. Alpert completed his fellowship in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles where he served as a member of the medical team for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Kings and the University of Southern California Men's Volleyball Team.
