Dr. Alaa Afifi

Dr. Abolhoda earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine. He completed two residency programs, the first in general surgery at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and the second in Cardiothoracic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center (Albert Einstein College of Medicine) in New York City. Dr. Abolhoda completed research and clinical fellowships in thoracic surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Dr Abolhoda performs a myriad of thoracic and foregut surgical procedures, using robotic techniques, including Robotic Lobectomy, Segmentectomy, Thymectomy and Hiatal hernia/anti-reflux operations.
