Overview
Zachary Baker, M.D., earned his medical degree from The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and completed his residency at West Virginia University. He went on to complete his cardiothoracic fellowship at The University of Arizona. Dr. Baker is board certified in both general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery.
Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Baker was the Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Tidal Health and also the medical director of Thoracic Oncology. He specializes in cardiothoracic surgery and his special interests include general cardiac surgery as well as general thoracic surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Baker enjoys skiing, camping, traveling and spending time with his family.
