She began her medical career in 1996 working within an internal medicine clinic in Michigan City, Ind. She set down roots in North Texas in 2009. Prior to establishing herself in the DFW area, Dr. Jamal served as an assistant professor in Geriatric Medicine within the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La.
