Dr. Charla L. Sperring
Overview
Dr. Charla Leigh Sperring has worked in women’s health and wellness in the Cleburne area since 2019 as a board-certified family physician. She also has advanced training in primary care sports medicine. Dr. Sperring’s love of sports medicine as a discipline within the primary care setting grew out of her collegiate soccer participation at the University of Oklahoma. She is a champion of sports physicals in paving the way for healthy sports play among young athletes. Her other areas of interest and focus include the diagnosis and treatment of minor orthopedic concerns, dermatology and comprehensive women’s care.Dr. Sperring earned her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed her family medicine residency with a sports medicine track at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colo. Dr. Sperring is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and Texas Medical Association.
