Craig T. Arntz, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic shoulder specialist with 25 years of experience treating problems that often require shoulder surgery, including rotator cuff tears, instability, fractures, and shoulder arthritis. He has advanced training in shoulder surgery with extensive experience in treating the most complex shoulder disorders. He has particular interest in arthroscopic shoulder repair, rotator cuff surgery and shoulder replacement surgery, including reverse shoulder replacement.Dr. Arntz is also a board-certified hand surgeon, and he is recognized in the Seattle and Renton communities as a shoulder and upper extremity specialist. Eric Alyea, DO, MPH, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, fellowship-trained in shoulder and elbow surgery.Dr. Alyea strives to provide the highest quality care using the latest techniques in an evidence based manner, and to serve patients through a collaborative, shared decision model developed through open and honest communication with the informed patient.In June 2020, Dr. Alyea was elected to join the ranks of theAmerican Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) as a Candidate Member. Dr. Komenda is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon whose primary focus is on sports medicine and injuries of the shoulder and knee. He enjoys working with patients requiring complex shoulder reconstruction and knee ligament reconstruction as well as joint replacement surgery. Dr. Komenda believes every patient is unique and important and strives to customize care to each individual patient in order to maximize function and enable them to return to their activities and sports. Dr. Komenda grew up in Washington state. He received a Bachelor of Science from the UW and attended St. Louis University for his medical degree. After doing his residency in Maryland, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at the highly regarded Southern California Orthopedic Institute. He and his wife have two boys who keep them busy with their sports teams and activities. In his free time, he enjoys flying, photography and coaching lacrosse.
