Overview
Philosophy of care | Treatment of my patients mirrors the osteopathic philosophy of treating the patient as a whole. Considerations must be made to a patient’s physical, mental and social situations to arrive at the best course of treatment and therefore the best possible outcome. | Why I entered medicine | Humans are inherently mobile creatures. Millions of years of adaptations to our environment have given us the ability to survive in the natural world. When we can’t move well, we become sick with chronic diseases and eventually succumb. I entered medicine with an interest only in orthopedic surgery. Preserving each patient’s ability to be mobile, to move and to experience the world without pain is my ultimate goal. | Community involvement | Over the years I have been involved with or supported multiple charities in the greater Hazleton area and abroad. Some include the Hazleton Integration Project, CanDo Community Foundation, Penn State University Hazleton Campus, United Charities, the Sanfilipo Foundation, Dancing with the Delaware Stars, Pennsylvania State Police and others. | Personal interests | I like being outdoors (hunting and fishing), youth athletics, anything with an engine, food and travel. | Image | Lehigh Valley Hospital is ranked 25th in the country for orthopedic care on the 2025-2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals list. Our team of more than 200 orthopedic specialists provide award-winning, nationally-recognized care with experience, expertise and leading-edge technology. |.
