Dr. Fang is a Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician, who has had a career in treating musculoskeletal conditions, sports medicine, amputee pain and so much more. Dr. Fang completed his residency at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU School of Medicine. After completion of his residency Dr. Fang has remained a part of NYU Langone Hospitals/Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, as an attending physician and a clinical instructor and clinical associate professor throughout the years. Dr. Fang is also an attending physician with the Veterans New York Harbor Health System and the Director of their EMG Lab. Dr. Fang believes in contributing to the training and education of the next generation of physicians and as a result has been a Site Director for NYU PM & R Residency Program at the VA, has supervised residents and performed various lectures regarding joint/bursa/tendon injections and electrodiagnostic medicine. Dr. Fang has continued his research, delivering various presentations and publications over his years of practice. Dr. Fang has joined our team to treat patients with various conditions by performing various in-office injections such as trigger point injections and Viscosupplementations. Dr. Fang also performs EMG/NCV studies, which assists physicians in diagnosing a variety of muscle and nerve disorders. These include minimally invasive, non-surgical evaluations and procedures such as biomechanical evaluations and bracing, specific activity/sport related rehabilitation plans, Same-day Diagnostic Ultrasound Evaluations and Ultrasound Guided injections of all Peripheral Joints, Nerve Hydro-dissections, Needle Tenotomy and Barbotage, Platelet Rich Plasma Injections, and Shockwave Therapy (ESWT).Dr. Cipriano has served on national committees in his field and has given multiple presentations at national conferences. He has published multiple research projects while working at the National Institute of Health (NIH) during residency and continued these projects while training at Emory including point of care evaluation of MSK injuries and return to activity treatments.
