My goal is to evaluate patients as accurately as possible and determine the cause of problems with memory or thinking. I may order tests to help achieve this goal. Together, we will begin a treatment plan. Part of the plan may be starting a medication, entering a clinical trial, or participating in a research study. I am dedicated to developing, discovering, and using the latest health-related advances to evaluate, diagnose, and treat dementia. My mission is to provide patients the opportunity to participate in research and partner with us in discovering and understanding what causes changes to memory and thinking. Now, as a memory disorders specialist, geriatric medicine specialist, and physician-scientist, my goal is to provide the highest quality medical care to my patients, centered on their individual values and preferences, while working to develop interventions that maintain their cognition and quality of life. I enjoy building a collaborative relationship with my patients and their loved ones and working with them to develop a personalized, holistic approach to their memory care.
