Dr. Rekhtman's clinical interests include inpatient consultative dermatology, cutaneous drug toxicities, general dermatology, complex medical dermatology, and rheumatic skin diseases (i.e. lupus, dermatomyositis, psoriasis, vasculitis, etc.). His Research interests are primarily focused on inpatient and acute dermatologic conditions as well as on cutaneous drug toxicities. Dr. Rekhtman also has a strong interest in medical student and dermatology resident education. Dr. Rekhtman has served in a variety of leadership roles, including membership on the Council of Science and Research, as well as the Healthcare Finance Committee within the American Academy of Dermatology. He also serves on multiple graduate medical educational committees within Northwell Health.
