Andrew R. Watson, MD, MLitt, FACS FATA, is a professor of surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.  Dr. Watson is an expert in minimally invasive colorectal surgery with a focus on inflammatory bowel diseases - ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Dr. Watson is board-certified in general surgery. He obtained his Masters in Literature and Architectural History at Oxford University, England. His medical degree was obtained from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York.  He completed his surgical residency and fellowship at UPMC.
