Dr. Su M. Cho

Su Min Cho, MD, MRCP, is a gastroenterologist and certified in gastroenterology as well as internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Cho obtained her medical degree from the Royal Free and University College London Medical School in London, UK. She completed an internal medicine residency at St. George’s University College London in the UK. She obtained membership in Royal College of Physicians in London. She trained in a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship in Hammersmith Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London prior to moving to Pittsburgh in 2005. After moving to Pittsburgh, she completed additional training in an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology/hepatology/nutrition fellowship at UPMC. Dr. Cho’s clinical interests include general gastroenterology, in particular inflammatory bowel disease. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Cho co-authored several peer-reviewed papers as well as book chapters. Dr. Cho’s practice is based at UPMC Shadyside, Digestive Health and Endoscopy Center, UPMC East, and the UPMC Outpatient Center in Pittsburgh’s South Hills. She is fluent in Korean and English.
