Overview
I provide primary care to all ages. I enjoy caring for children through older adults, especially when I see the whole family. I feel lucky to live so close by in the downtown Durham area with my husband and four kids. We regularly take advantage of the ability to walk to many of Durham’s great restaurants, the farmer's market, and activities on the Duke University campus.

I have been honored to have spent my entire career, since completing my residency in 1986, working in the wonderful and diverse community of Hillsborough. Family medicine was a perfect career choice for me. I love the long-term relationships with patients of all ages. I particularly enjoy women's health, and I have grown fond of geriatrics, as the patient population I care for is aging. Outside of medicine, I have three young adult children and a great husband.
