Overview

Dr. Saltzman is the Director of Endoscopy at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Director of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Program.  He is a Professor of Medicine, part-time, at Harvard Medical School and is actively involved in patient care, teaching, clinical research, and administration.His areas of expertise include upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage and all areas of endoscopy. He has served as the President of the New England Endoscopy Society and as a Governor for the State of Massachusetts for the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Saltzman is an active investigator in multiple areas including upper gastrointestinal bleeding, new endoscopic technologies and improving colon cancer detection/prevention.
