His experience as a military physician includes trauma in an austere environment, management of patients with pulmonary disease, teaching fundamentals of critical care support to family residents, Navy Seals and Marine MARSOC, and was ICU medical director in Kandahar and Camp Lejeune.Dr. Hedelius has been a critical care bedside ultrasonography instructor with the American College of Chest Physicians for over 4 years. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary and Critical care medicine.
