Overview
Erin Paul, MD, is a fellowship-trained fetal and pediatric cardiologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG) and the director of echocardiography within the division of pediatric cardiology. Board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Paul specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart issues in utero and during childhood or adolescence. Conditions often include congenital heart disease, abnormal blood vessels, valve problems, and Arrhythmias.After earning her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in NYC, Dr. Paul pursued her pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship training at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center. She was named chief pediatric cardiology fellow during this time and received research funding as an Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program Scholar. Dr. Paul pursued an additional noninvasive imaging fellowship to focus on advanced techniques in fetal and pediatric echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance and cardiac computed tomography.Prior to joining the AMG Pediatric Cardiology practice, part of Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Dr. Paul served as an assistant professor of pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital.Dr. Paul has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, serves on local and national committees, and has presented at national meetings. She sits on the board of the Pediatric Cardiology Society of Greater New York and is a member of the Fetal Heart Society as well as a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
