Philosophy of care | I am grateful to be part of a team committed to helping patients support and improve their health – personally, and in the context of family and community. We try to include all dimensions of the human person in our care – physicality, thoughts, feelings, social and spiritual relationships. Sometimes it's about curing or coping, but it is always about caring. | Why I entered medicine | For me medicine was a “calling” to serve others by accompanying them through sickness and health, and doing so with love and excellence. | Community involvement | I have worked with the Street Medicine Program and have been a supporter of the United Way, Communities in Schools and the Community Health Needs Assessment process. | Personal interests | I really enjoy meeting new people and learning from them. I also like bicycling, kayaking, baseball, researching ancestry and time with my family.
