A native of Hungary, Dr. Kalmar graduated summa cum laude from the SemmelweisMedical School of Budapest. After serving as a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor of Radiology at Semmelweis Medical School of Budapest, he completed his internship and residency training in Sweden at Sabbatsberg, Lowenstromska and Danderyds Hospitals as well as the Psychiatric Hospital of Beckomberga. Dr. Kalmar speaks Swedish, French and Hungarian and reads German and Russian. He is also a former World Champion and an Olympic Bronze Medal medal winner in Saber Fencing and an International and Olympic Fencing Judge for the USA.
