Overview
Dr. Joseph Scott first came to Murfreesboro in 2000 after he finished residency because he wanted to come back to Tennessee and live near Knoxville, where he grew up. He spends his time away from work thoroughly enjoying his wife and four children. His family is involved in international mission work, local street ministry and fostering at risk children. Dr. Scott also enjoys reading, writing fiction stories for children, swimming, hiking, camping, playing the violin, and traveling.
Dr. Scott joined the Internal Medicine Department at the Murfreesboro Medical Clinic in September 2000 and he has been board certified in Internal Medicine since 2000. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Tennessee Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians.
