He has a particular interest in pediatric ENT, thyroid surgery and endoscopic sinus surgery.Dr. Dong has received additional training in the use of ultrasound for evaluation of thyroid nodules and other head and neck tumors. He performs needle biopsies under ultrasound guidance in the office.Dr. Dong also has expertise in balloon sinus procedures performed in the office, which generally allows patients to return to work and normal activities by the following day. Additionally, he offers in-office facial rejuvenation services such as cosmetic fillers and injections.Dr. Dong grew up in Sacramento and attended the University of California, Davis where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Science in 1989. He subsequently received his medical degree from Saint Louis University in Missouri. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
