Dr. Aryaie is a board certified surgeon and has completed a Minimally Invasive and Bariatric fellowship at one of the top fellowship programs in the United States at University Hospitals Case Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Aryaie received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, then attended Ross University School of Medicine, where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class. He completed his residency at The Jewish Hospital, an affiliate of University of Cincinnati. Once he finished his fellowship at one of the top prestigious MIS/Bariatric fellowships in the United States, he joined Texas Tech University Health Science Center as assistant professor of surgery where he served as Medical Director and Chief of Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery at University Medical Center from 2016 to 2019 before moving back to Atlanta.Dr. Aryaie has done extensive research, published multiple publications and has been featured during national presentations regarding bariatrics and minimally invasive surgery. He was named as 'Top Doctor'and 'Doctor of Distinction'in multiple magazines.Dr. Aryaie serves on multiple national surgical committees and is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES); and American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons (ASMBS)As an extremely experience and knowledgeable surgeon, he has conducted thousands of high-quality weight loss surgeries including Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric bypass, Duodenal Switch, Single Anastomosis Duodenal Switch (SADI), Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG), Gastric Balloon, and Revisional Bariatric Surgery.
