Overview
Dr. Strother earned her bachelor's degree from Ole Miss graduating magna cum laude from the Sally McDonell Barksdale Honors college with a degree in Physics, during that time she also played center midfield for the Ole Miss Women's Soccer team. As an Alabama native she returned to the University of South Alabama College of Medicine to obtain her Doctor of Medicine and subsequently completed her residency in anesthesiology at The University of Mississippi Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Strother was honored with a certificate of excellence and a citizenship award while pursuing her education and training, she was honored by the American Board of anesthesiology for obtaining a perfect score on the anesthesiology in training exam two times. She presented multiple presentations to local and national medical organizations.
Dr. Strother completed her fellowship in pain management at Baylor Scott & White, with a focus on procedural intervention. Dr. Strother strives to deliver a compassionate and personalized approach to treating pain with the newest and most effective procedures.
