Dr. Daniel G. Eichberg is an assistant professor of neurosurgery in the Department of Neurosurgery at Northwell Health. He completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University, where he developed his interest in oncology and neuroscience. He completed his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where he graduated magna cum laude, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. Dr. Eichberg was awarded the prestigious Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology investigating therapies for brain tumors.Dr. Eichberg completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Miami, where he was selected for the National Institutes of Health T32 grant and the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation Research Fellowship Grant for glioblastoma research.
