Overview
Dr. Gonzalez-Jacobo is a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive and Bariatric surgeon. He completed his General Surgery residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Queens, NY. He continued his surgical training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he completed a Fellowship in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive surgery. During his fellowship he was able to refine his endoscopic, robotic and advanced laparoscopic surgical skills. Being Cuban-American he is fluent in Spanish.
He specializes and is experienced in Bariatric, anti-reflux , gastric, and esophageal surgeries as well as other areas of general surgery such as gallbladder and hernia surgery.
He is a member of the Piedmont Clinic and is looking forward to providing the best care to the Atlanta community.
