Dr. Randall W. Crim

Dallas native Dr. Charles Iliya is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is dual board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care, with additional specialization in trauma and vascular surgery. Dr. Iliya graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his general surgery residency training at St. Paul Medical Center, also in Dallas. He went on to complete his vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.Dr. Iliya has been on the medical staff of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas for more than 25 years. He has decades of experience in the use of advanced and minimally invasive surgical techniques, with vascular surgery as his area of special interest. In 2005, Dr. Iliya championed the National Vascular Access Improvement Initiative. He has been honored with the President's Recognition Award given out by the Presbyterian Healthcare System.Previously, Dr. Iliya served as a Clinical Instructor and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical School. He also served as Chief of Medical Staff for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center White Rock in Dallas. He speaks fluent Spanish. Away from the operating room, he enjoys traveling, playing tennis and cooking. Dr. Dossa speaks fluent French. Dr. Mohammad Frotan is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and he is board-certified in general surgery and critical care surgery. He holds two bachelor's degrees in biology and business administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he graduated with honors. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock.Dr. Frotan completed his general surgery internship and residency and his burn surgery fellowship at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. While in Alabama, he served as the assistant professor of Surgery and medical director over the Burn Intensive Care Unit at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He returned to the Dallas area to complete additional fellowship training in trauma surgical critical care through The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center-Parkland Memorial Hospital.Dr. Frotan's extensive clinical and research training includes general surgery, trauma, burns and surgical critical care. He has lectured and presented on topics ranging from the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery and thoracic trauma to vascular exposure trauma and abdominal wall reconstruction. He is a member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Burn Association.
