Thereafter, he shifted his primary educational focus from rheumatology fellows to medical students, and to internal medicine housestaff on the Bayview and Johns Hopkins campuses. He directs the Musculoskeletal Section of the Genes-to-Society Course to the 2nd year medical school class. Currently, Dr. Gelber serves as Thayer Firm Faculty Leader of the Osler Medical Training Program. and among the Aliki Scholars at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
