My interest solidified before I went to medical school when I worked as an office manager and medical assistant at a medical center in Queens, New York, where I grew up. I also did volunteer work in radiology, at a microbiology lab and with an ambulance corps. | Community involvement | I moved here from Queens in July 2016 so still feel new to the area.
