Philosophy of care | I believe our patient-physician relationship should encompass compassionate care, education, trust and understanding. I will spend time during each visit educating you on your health and diagnosis to help you become knowledgeable and an active participant in your care. | Why I entered medicine | My decision to pursue cardiology was largely driven by my experiences as a patient and the family member of a patient. When I was in high school, my father died suddenly from a genetic heart condition. As an organ donor his veins were ultimately used to save his mother-in-law’s life when she urgently needed bypass surgery. These experiences inspired and taught me the value of this field, and I want to use them to form a personal connection with you. Cardiology is one of the most dynamic areas of medicine, and treatments are constantly emerging. Had my father been treated by today’s medical system, his outcome may have been different. I am passionate about using these new resources and emerging technologies to help you and your family prevent a negative outcome. | Personal interests | I grew up in the Lehigh Valley, trained in Philadelphia and then moved back to the area. I am not just a physician, but also a mother, daughter, wife, sister and friend. My free time is spent with my husband, daughter and two sons. We enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling and just being together.

Morristown Medical Center
An internationally recognized leader in structural heart disease, Dr. Généreux has been a practicing interventional cardiologist for more than 15 years. He is the director of the structural heart program at Morristown Medical Center, has served as the primary or co-investigator on more than 20 clinical trials, and has published more than 350 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently the principal investigator of the EARLY TAVR trial and the PROGRESS trial, two major studies in the field of aortic valve disease. A celebrated clinical researcher since the beginning of his career, he was awarded the prestigious Thomas J. Linnemeier Spirit of Interventional Cardiology Young Investigator Award at the 2012 Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) scientific symposium and has been named a Highly Cited Researcher by the Clarivate™ Web of Science™ Group for the last four years. Dr. Généreux is also involved in multiple early-stage companies in the field of interventional cardiology and heart failure. He received his medical degree from the Université de Montréal, Montréal, Québec, Canada, his cardiology and interventional cardiology degrees from Université de Sherbrooke and Sacré-Coeur Hospital, Montreal, Canada, and performed his advanced interventional cardiology and structural heart fellowship at Columbia University and Cardiovascular Research Foundation, in New York city. He is also routinely invited as a faculty at international conferences and as a peer-reviewer for leading scientific journals. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography and Cardiac Computed Tomography.
