Philosophy of care | Treatment of my patients mirrors the osteopathic philosophy of treating the patient as a whole. Considerations must be made to a patient’s physical, mental and social situations to arrive at the best course of treatment and therefore the best possible outcome. | Why I entered medicine | Humans are inherently mobile creatures. Millions of years of adaptations to our environment have given us the ability to survive in the natural world. When we can’t move well, we become sick with chronic diseases and eventually succumb. I entered medicine with an interest only in orthopedic surgery. Preserving each patient’s ability to be mobile, to move and to experience the world without pain is my ultimate goal. | Community involvement | Over the years I have been involved with or supported multiple charities in the greater Hazleton area and abroad.
