Philosophy of care | I am a partner in health care with my patients. I want to give them the information they need to make informed decisions. I treat my patients the way I would want my family members and loved ones to be treated. | Why I entered medicine | I entered medicine because of a strong desire to help people. I worked in human services and psychology prior to medical school and wanted to be able to treat the whole person and the entire family. | Community involvement | I am involved in my church. I also am a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. | Personal interests | My interests include spending time with my husband and family, including my furry children, my adult children and my grandson. I also love to travel, enjoy gardening, step aerobics, cooking and exploring new restaurants.
