Overview
My interest in endocrinology started at a young age when my father was diagnosed with diabetes. My interest was reinforced in medical school when I became fascinated by the endocrine system. Currently, I practice general endocrinology. I have a strong interest in diabetes. It is my goal as an endocrinologist taking care of patients with conditions that affect their daily living to provide the best and most compassionate care possible. I strive to know my patients on a personal level in order to be able to help them achieve their goals. In addition to my passion for patient care and teaching, I spend some time conducting clinical research. My research interest includes the prevention of diabetes, diabetes-related complications, improving patient care, and health disparities.
