Arthur Kitt, M.D., M.P.H., is a fellowship-trained pain management specialist at Orlin & Cohen. Dr. Kitt is recognized as a leader in his field and is a sought-after speaker with leading professional societies, including the Eastern Pain Association. He has researched, presented, and published on a number of interventional pain topics, including opioid dependence, perioperative analgesia, complex regional pain syndrome, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and surgical spine procedures.
Dr. Kitt completed his anesthesiology residency and pain fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received the Dell Burkey Award as the most Outstanding Pain Fellow. He then spent five years on the faculty at Penn, where he served as the associate pain fellowship director and residency clerkship director. He moved on to work as the Director of Pain Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital for two years before joining Orlin & Cohen in Long Island.
