Overview
Dr. Walker is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine and pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from West Virginia University. He completed his internship and residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, followed by a clinical fellowship at the University of Rochester. Dr. Walker is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as a member of the American Thoracic Society. He has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Walker specializes in airway disease, especially bronchiectasis and cystic fibrosis. He is passionate about improving the quality of life in patients with these diseases.
In his spare time, Dr. Walker enjoys cooking, traveling, and trying in vain to stay in shape.
