Dr. Daniel A. Wollin

Dr. Wollin is a urologic surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard University School of Medicine. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Williams College and received his medical degree from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his urology residency at New York University and a fellowship at Duke University in Endourology, Metabolic Stone Disease, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery. He then completed a Masters of Science in Integrated Design and Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a focus on design of medical devices. Dr. Wollin is board certified in Urology.Dr. Wollin’s clinical practice focuses on medical and surgical treatment of kidney stones as well as robotic surgical management of a variety of urologic diseases including prostate cancer, kidney cancer, and benign diseases of the kidney and prostate. His research focuses on design of novel devices and technologies to treat kidney stones and other urologic disorders as well as understanding the ergonomics/kinematics of endoscopic procedures.
