
Overview
Dr. Hongbei Wang is an Assistant Professor in Dermatology and in Anatomic Pathology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra / Northwell. She is board certified in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology and Dermatopathology by the American Boards of Pathology and Dermatology.
Dr. Wang received her medical degree and Master of Science from the Second Military Medical University in Shanghai, China. She earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, where she was selected as Chief Resident. Dr. Wang then completed her fellowship in dermatopathology at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology.
Dr. Wang has significant work experience in both private and academic sectors in dermatolopathology. She has been actively teaching residents in Dermatology and Pathology. Dr. Wang has also published in peer-reviewed literature.
