Dr. Geetha Rao is the medical director of Radiation Oncology at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree from The Johns Hopkins University. She then completed Duke University Medical School in 1995, and her residency in Radiation Oncology from the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI in 2000. There, she served as chief resident and as an attending physician after training.She joined private practice locally in 2004 and has worked exclusively at the Piedmont Fayette Radiation center since its opening in 2010.
