Her research focuses on identifying interventions that could minimize the neurological deficits that can persist after traumatic brain injury in children. Dr. Robertson serves on the editorial board of Developmental Neuroscience and is an ad hoc reviewer for many other critical care and neuroscience journals. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the National Neurotrauma Society, the Women in Neurotrauma Research Society and the Society for Neuroscience.
