Overview
Philosophy of care | I consider myself an educator and facilitator. It’s my responsibility to help patients understand their condition, and guide them to make health care decisions in which they are comfortable and confident. | Why I entered medicine | I’ve always had a fascination with how the body works. I wouldn’t say that I chose to specialize in women’s health. It chose me. When I was a medical student, I was awestruck when I helped deliver a baby. When I deliver a baby today, I still am. Every patient and family I care for is a new experience, and I enjoy that very much. | Personal interests | I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife, Anne Marie, also is an OB/GYN. We met during our residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network. We have a son and daughter and like to travel as a family. I also enjoy being outdoors swimming, biking, hiking and golfing.
