Dr. Douglas M. Krahn

Douglas Krahn, MD, FACS, is a founder of Western Baraitric, AMC, the medical director of Parkview Center for Weight Loss, in Riverdale CA, and is also the founder and medical director of Weight Loss Services at St. Bernadine Medical Center in San Bernadino, CA. He was fellowship trained in Bariatric surgery in 2001 by Robert T. Merema, MD, FACS, at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Krahn received undergraduate and MD degrees from the University of California Davis, and general surgery certification from Loma Linda University. He is a current member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the AMA, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Krahn has preformed over 3000 Bariatric surgeries, and focuses his practice on a multitude of operations, which include LAGB, LGBP, Laparoscopic Silastic Ring GBP, LSG, and Revision Surgery.
