I co-authored the AAES Thyroidectomy Guidelines, led the development of the Operative Standards for Adrenalectomy for Adrenal Cancer, and currently serve on the Accreditation Committee of the Commission on Cancer. I firmly believe in these organizations as they advocate for patients, and their missions help advance the science and art of endocrine surgery and care for patients diagnosed with cancer. I’m also directly involved in supporting the missions of multiple patient advocacy groups that promote awareness of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders.
