Dr. Thomas Eickmann joined Cornerstone, a division of Orthopedic Centers of Colorado, in 2005. As a total joint specialist in hip and knee replacement he does primary hip and knee replacement as well as revisions of the hip and knee. Dr. Eickmann has a history of being an entrepreneur and innovator. He championed barbed suture closure in joint replacement and served on the Angiotech speakers bureau popularizing a now common closure technique. During fellowship he received the Fellow’s Clinical Science Silver Award by the Wake Forest Division of Surgical Sciences for his research on nerve injuries.
