Mae W. Healy, D.O., is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). Dr. Healy completed her residency in OB/GYN at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. She completed her fellowship in REI at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Prior to joining SGF, Dr. Healy retired from the U.S. Navy as a Commander with her most recent position being the Division Director of REI at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Healy has also served as the Director, Assisted Reproductive Technology at Walter Reed. She values training the next generation of physicians, evidenced by her time as the Associate Fellowship Director at the National Institutes of Health for REI. Dr. Healy has been recognized for her excellence in teaching and patient care. As an avid researcher, Dr. Healy has contributed to numerous publications and presentations exploring topics such as access to fertility care for military families, intrauterine inseminations (IUI), and optimizing embryo transfer techniques, among many others.
