Ibrahim Adamu, M.D., earned his medical degree at Istanbul University. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Vermont through Danbury Hospital and went on to complete his colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the Georgia Colon and Rectal Clinic in Atlanta. Dr. Adamu is board certified in general surgery and colon and rectal surgery.Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Adamu practiced in Indiana as a general and colorectal surgeon. She is board certified in colon and rectal surgery, as well as general surgery. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
