Dr. Federico A. Steiner

Federico Steiner, MD, is a board-certified thoracic surgeon at Atlantic Medical Group, Morristown Medical Center, and he is the chief of Thoracic Surgery at Overlook Medical Center. With extensive expertise in thoracic surgical oncology, he takes a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating closely with medical and radiation oncologists to ensure each patient receives the highest-quality, comprehensive care.Dr. Steiner is board-certified in thoracic and cardiac surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and specializes in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive thoracoscopic procedures. He incorporates the latest technologies, including intraoperative molecular imaging, to help identify small tumors and treat complex diseases within the chest cavity, including cancers of the lung and esophagus, as well as conditions affecting the trachea, mediastinum and chest wall.
