He also helped to initiate the Neonatal Intestinal Rehabilitation Committee (NIRC) at Goryeb Children's Hospital.Dr. Griffin has a long-standing interest in neonatal nutrition and growth. He has pioneered work on neonatal growth charts for preterm babies and broadened our understanding of many of the nutritional nutrients that contribute to proper growth and development. He has authored more than 100 publications on growth and nutrition, served on several nationally-recognized committees evaluating the neonatal nutrition care, and is recognized internationally for his research efforts.
