Following her distinguished residency, Dr. Barnard completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Barnard is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Her passion for reproductive endocrinology blossomed from the field’s mix of cutting-edge science with a compassionate human touch, and her clinical interests include fertility preservation, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and optimizing pregnancy outcomes after assisted reproduction. Dr. Barnard holds leadership positions in several professional organizations, including the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
