Through his participation in Clinical Oncology Treatment Protocols, he offers the newest and most advanced forms of treatment for tumors of all disease sites. An executive board member for the CyberKnife Society, he has published extensively on radiosurgery. He is the current Medical Director of Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center and oversees their Department of Radiation Oncology as well. He was the Assistant Director for the Center for Thoracic Disease at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center and Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix until 2008. Dr. Kresl completed advanced medical educational and research training in the field of oncology as one of five National Institute of Health (NIH) supported combined MD/PhD Fellows in Graduate Medical Science training in Molecular and Immunological Tumor Cell Biology. He received his MD and PhD from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and completed a comprehensive Radiation Oncology training program at the Mayo Clinic,Rochester, MN. Dr. Kresl has also completed advanced Clinical Radiation Oncology training in the field of Brachytherapy, GammaKnife™Stereotactic Radiosurgery and CyberKnife® Stereotactic Radiosurgery. Dr. Kresl is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology. A distinguished fellow of the American College of Cancer Specialists,he is included in the Best Doctors in America 2011-2012 and was named among America's Top Oncologists 2010 by the Consumer's Research Council of America.To help people achieve health for life.
